I’m on the Ms Gulf Coast. And have trouble getting my herd to eat mineral. I think the salt water environment makes the mineral less desirable because they are getting the salt other ways . We have a Ware Milling distributor near me. Do you any advice? Surely they aren’t getting all their minerals they need on their own.

I got my fertilize put out Saturday myself and got a good rain this evening. Maybe you'll catch some of these rains coming up through there.

Hsve you thought of putting some clover or alfalfa into the hay mix. Would account for a fair amount of nitrogen. I put on some potash and ams

Those Karens that complain about fertilizers and wish for "natural" fertilizers, have never been on a farm. It does smell! They can't have it both ways...I could go into a huge rant about a friend of mine who is completely self sustained...they raise, hunt and grow pretty much everything they eat. Yet, the community complained about them using rabbit and chicken manure on their gardens saying it polluted the lake...which was miles away! They actually had to shrink their garden because of it! You just can't win! I hear ya...it's one of my HUGEST pet peeves! UGH!

Finally!!!! Some rants!!!!! Oh I hate how people are about driving. As soon as a lot of people get behind the wheel of a vehicle they become a monster. God forbid if your doing the speed limit, that’s to slow for them. An if your hauling something and can’t go above 25-30 they act like their whole world is going to come to a screeching halt. Then you get the reckless passer that pass on a double white line with a curve ahead… furates me to no end.

We use chicken litter. We had people gripe about it and we kept using it. Do what you want who cares if they like it or not. You do a great job with your cattle operation. I’ve been doing this close to 50 years
